Happy National Siblings Day!
This month marks the official one-year anniversary of the Worldnet hoodie campaign. We are greatly humbled by its continued success and appeal. On April 6, 2017 we started this campaign and continued to develop and challenge ourselves to the fullest depths and lengths that it would allow us to go. From celebrated articles featured in prestigious publications, social media frenzy, and collaborations with Grammy-award winning artists, this past year has proven to be a major milestone and turning point for our company and brand. We have our amazing teams to thank for this as well; from Sales, Customer Service, Dispatch, Operations, and Drivers we were able to and still continue to WOW and delight our clients and audience. We’re even more thrilled about what the future holds for us. Watch this space!
To Kick off National Poetry Month we wanted to share a haiku; a Japanese poem of seventeen syllables, in three lines of five, seven, and five. While a haiku is typically about nature we decided to put a Worldnet themed spin on it. We hope you like it and are inspired to share poetry of your own.

The logistics industry might be male-dominated, however it's due to the skillset, determination, and leadership of women, especially here at Worldnet, that magic happens every day.
We love when our clients and friends share their Worldnet moments with us. Whether they're rocking their limited edition Frank Ocean x Worldnet hoodie, the classic blue hoodie or they've spotted the Worldnet van delivering life-changing goods- it always brightens our day! Here are a few of our favorite submissions. If you'd like to submit your photos and videos you can do so by emailing Marketing@worldnet-intl.com.
The general public was widely introduced to our brand, Worldnet International throughout 2017 due to our hoodies. You might have seen them featured on Vogue.com, caught a glimpse of it in the September issue of Elle Magazine, or read about our collaboration with Grammy-award winning musician Frank Ocean, on some of your favorite websites.
With each mention and Instagram post followed one of two questions “what is Worldnet?’ and “When are you dropping more hoodies?” we’re still out of stock 😫sorry! While the majority of the public isn’t familiar with who we are and what we do, it’s certainly a different case for the influencers and elite of the fashion and media industries. For the past 20 years, we’ve worked with some of the most prestigious and cutting-edge brands that shape our society. They call on us to help them deliver their best works; whether its exotic fabrics for an upcoming collection, equipment for a new store opening, or high-value props and outfits for an overseas photoshoot-they know we’ll be there to support them every step of the way.
When our founders Richard and Mary Bhullar first opened the Worldnet doors in 1997 they wanted to accomplish two things: 1) deliver amazing customer service and 2) create a work culture so wonderful that staff looked forward to coming into the office. With offices across Europe and North America as well as an expanding clientele, it’s safe to say that the Bhullars were able to accomplish their goals and then some.
There’s a saying at Worldnet we often reference and it’s “we do things differently.” And that difference is genuine care. As a family owned and operated business, we pride ourselves on paying special attention to each shipment as if it were our own- it’s the Worldnet way.
We care about each other, our clients, and our community. So much so that we have a non-profit, Light of a Thousand Stars that collaborates with organizations that support women and children in need. The Bhullars, are siblings from London who had very humble beginnings. The lessons they learned leading up to the opening of Worldnet is weaved throughout the operations of our business.
For the past 20 years, we have cultivated strong relationships with our clients. We’ve earned the reputation of being one of the most reliable logistics company. What else would make fashion editors and celebrity stylists so inclined to tote the merchandise of a logistics company!? The thing to remember is that we’re not just a logistics company. We’re a logistics company that gives a ship and we want to help you deliver your best work.
The trick this Halloween season is to choose a shipping company that'll treat you right! From critical deadlines to complex international events, Worldnet's got your back and your package. Browse our popular logistic services now.
The U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC) regulates radio frequency devices contained in electronic/electrical products that are capable of emitting radio frequency energy by radiation, conduction, or other means. As a general rule, such products need to demonstrate FCC compliance through one of the applicable FCC Equipment Authorization (EA) procedures, i.e., Verification, Declaration of Conformity, or Certification. Electronic and electrical products that are marketed and used in the United States are required to be tested, documented, and managed for continued compliance. The approval procedure varies depending on the type of electrical device you have.
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) requires shipments of nonprescription sunglasses include the “Drop Ball Test” certificate. This certificate confirms the safety and durability of the lens for impact resistance. Consumers, manufacturers, and sellers are required to test a batch of lenses prior to shipping them. The number of lenses tested for impact resistance within each batch or lot varies depending on material and type of lens being shipped.
All footwear must be accompanied by a Footwear Declaration form also known as the Interim Footwear Invoice that ensures it has met all requirements set by U.S. Customs. Information such as the types of materials used to make the shoe, where the shoe was made, and the type of shoe(s) being shipped are some questions that you will find on the Footwear Declaration form. You can find a copy of the form by clicking on the “read more” link.
When it comes to shipping textiles it is important to share the fabric content of your items. This is extremely important due to the Textile and Wool Acts enforced by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) as well as the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Services. The rulings of the textile and wool acts state that most products made of wool and textile must have a label listing the fiber content, the country of origin, and the identity of the manufacturer or another business responsible for marketing or handling the item. The FTC regularly makes amendments to these rules that legally require full cooperation. As mentioned in a previous post, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service protects, preserves, and enhances the survival of endangered and threatened species.
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is a government agency whose mission is to protect, preserve, and enhance the existence of the Nation’s flora, fish, and wildlife. They implement conservation initiatives and enforce federal laws that allow them to fulfill their objectives. If an individual or company wants to engage with wildlife in an academic or commercial manner, they typically request a permit from this office or hire a third-party organization to obtain the legally required documents.
We first opened our doors on September 01, 1997 in Queens, NY with little recognition but plenty of determination to be the best in the business. 20 years later and we have a lot to be thankful for; our wonderful clients and employees, to start! However, Worldnet would not be here, literally, if Patsy hadn’t made the decision to remortgage her London home to help two of her passionate children, Richard and Mary, start their business in NYC—Worldnet International. This milestone is also in dedication to our amazing clients who entrust us with their most valuable pieces, our employees who believe in the power of delivering amazing customer service, and to Patsy, a courageous woman with a smile of a thousand stars, a positive attitude, and a love like no other. We love you, all!
