You might have seen them featured on Vogue.com, caught a glimpse of it in the September issue of Elle Magazine, or read about our collaboration with Grammy-award winning musician Frank Ocean, on some of your favorite websites.
With each mention and Instagram post followed one of two questions “what is Worldnet?’ and “When are you dropping more hoodies?” we’re still out of stock 😫sorry! While the majority of the public isn’t familiar with who we are and what we do, it’s certainly a different case for the influencers and elite of the fashion and media industries. For the past 20 years, we’ve worked with some of the most prestigious and cutting-edge brands that shape our society. They call on us to help them deliver their best works; whether its exotic fabrics for an upcoming collection, equipment for a new store opening, or high-value props and outfits for an overseas photoshoot-they know we’ll be there to support them every step of the way.
When our founders Richard and Mary Bhullar first opened the Worldnet doors in 1997 they wanted to accomplish two things: 1) deliver amazing customer service and 2) create a work culture so wonderful that staff looked forward to coming into the office. With offices across Europe and North America as well as an expanding clientele, it’s safe to say that the Bhullars were able to accomplish their goals and then some.
There’s a saying at Worldnet we often reference and it’s “we do things differently.” And that difference is genuine care. As a family owned and operated business, we pride ourselves on paying special attention to each shipment as if it were our own- it’s the Worldnet way.
We care about each other, our clients, and our community. So much so that we have a non-profit, Light of a Thousand Stars that collaborates with organizations that support women and children in need. The Bhullars, are siblings from London who had very humble beginnings. The lessons they learned leading up to the opening of Worldnet is weaved throughout the operations of our business.
